Zak Hill has officially been named the next Offensive Coordinator for Arizona State University.  Prior to Zak Hill earning his role as a coach, he was a historically great quarterback for Central Washington University.

Zak Hill attended Central Washington University between 1999 and 2003. While attending CWU, Hill broke more than twenty league records including passing for 8,882 yards and 76 touchdowns while completing sixty percent of his passes.  In 2002, Zak led Central Washington University to an eleven and one record and was named third-team All-American.

Concluding Zak Hill’s playing career at Central Washington University, Zak earned a coaching roe with Eastern Washington University. In 2009, Eastern Washington University hired Hill as a Quarterback Coach until 2015.  During his reign as Quarterback Coach, Zak was able to find and develop award winning quarterbacks such as Vernon Adams Jr., Matt Nichols, and Bo Levi Mitchell. Bo Levi Mitchell continued his career with the Calgary Stampeders and won the Grey Cup.  In 2015, Hill had his best statistical season with Eastern Washington University.

Eastern Washington University topped the Football Championship Subdivision in passing offense averaging 353.3 yards per game, quarterback Jordan West threw for 3,002 passing yards and had thirty touchdowns.  Zak Hill led the Eastern Washington University Eagles to five playoff appearances and was either the Conference Champion or Co-Champion four times from 2010 to 2014.

After the great 2015 season he had with Eastern Washington University, Zak Hill moved to the University of Hawaii as their Offensive Coordinator.  Zak Hill only attended University of Hawaii for one year and during that time, he was unable to get his recruits to the island. Iin 2017, Zak moved to Boise State University as their Offensive Coordinator.

During the 2017 season at Boise State, this team saw record-setting production in their passing game.  Wide Receiver Cedrick Wilson set the Boise State single-season record with over 1,500 receiving yards. Also Zak Hill’s offensive strategies led Boise State to their tenth season with a running back running over 1,000 yards.  In 2018, Zak Hill’s offensive attack became even more explosive. During that session, Hill retained quarterback Brett Rypien for the seniors fourth year at Boise State. Brett Rypien, his senior year, won the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year honors.  As it turns out, this was the first player at Boise State since Kellen Moore to earn this award seven years prior.

Hill may not be considered “The Sexiest Pick” by the media; however every team Zak Hill has found himself coaching, he has made the offense more explosive.  Zak Hill will be equipped with quarterback Jayden Daniels demonstrating to be an asset to the Arizona State University organization. Zak Hill will provide Arizona State University with an offense more hazardous to the opposing defence.
