Kazual Sportz First Ten Pick Mock Draft and Cardinals Pick

This is our first of only three mock Drafts, and according to all of our data we will do our best to come as close to the first 10 picks in the draft this year.

The prospects positions are loaded with talent, but then again we hear that term almost every year coming into and out of the combine.

But this draft has a different feel to it, in that there are multiple positions that are literally stacked with potential impact players and it will be hard to put the best 10 on the board in order.

Sifting through the pool and watching the tape we have come up with our first ten pick mock draft.

Number One Overall Pick  Cincinnati- Joe Burrow QB LSU: Not the most talented player in the draft, but will go number one to the Bengals because of the desperate need at quarterback, and of the quarterbacks he is currently the top prospect. This is the hype after a great season and championship finish, and well deserved. The injury to Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa definitely opened up that opportunity for Burrow.

Number Two Washington- Chase Young DE OSU: This pick was not easy to put into place because the Redskins could very well do what the Arizona Cardinals did last year in going after the franchise quarterback of the future. That would mean Dwayne Haskins may not be the guy that new Head Coach Ron Rivera wants to start his tenure. Look for this pick possibly changing during the next two mock drafts, as Tua Tagovailoa will be having a pro-day workout and based on that performance the Redskins could be enticed. They could also trade the pick to a team with quarterback hungry aspirations such as the Chargers and Dolphins so Tua could still end up the number two pick.

Number Three Detroit- Isiah Simmons LB Clemson: After the kids combine performance and the taller linebacker running a 4.39 has turned heads toward his tape closer and they find that he indeed can be a swiss army knife on the field. A freak of nature that will be instant impact to a team for sure, and making defense better is never a bad thing.

Number Four NY Giants- Jedrick Wills OT Alabama: Its probably unlikely that the Giants two starting Tackles will be on their roster this year, so it would only make sense that the team fill that major need. Here is a scenario where a team is so depleted in an area they are almost forced to take the best guy at the position of need.

A guy that can do both run blocking and pass protection will be ideal, out of all of the talent Wills is the guy that can project doing both on the line. He is massive at 6’5, 320lbs and has good hands.

Number Five Miami- Tua Tagovailoa QB Alabama: Wether this selection is at number five or from a trade up to number two the Dolphins are taking the next best quarterback in the draft. But hold on one minute, This could very well be the Dolphins getting the best quarterback in the draft at number five, and that would be a steal. Tua will be a special player, you don’t play for a school like Alabama and come off the bench as a freshman a few years ago and perform at that high of level without being special. This has been Miami’s guy from day one and baring a rise from another prospect this one is a no brainer.

Number six LA Chargers- Justin Herbert QB Oregon: This pick is our first reach pick, the Chargers are in need of the next signal caller after moving on from Phillip Rivers, their choice will come down between Jordon Love and Justin Herbert and they will probably take the more supposed polished guy. There are many that think that Herbert is the next bust at the position because of how he played down the serious stretch of the season, his tape shows him not a good decision maker and not as accurate but he looks the part and perhaps he will be best suited for sitting a year or two behind a veteran most think will be Tom Brady.

Number Seven Carolina- Derrick Brown DT Auburn: This pick was the next best player off the board for the Panthers, the choice between the best corner in Jeff Okudah out of Ohio St or take the most freakish kid on the Defensive line at 6’5 318 lbs and will be a problem for any offensive lineman. Tape on this kid is scary, effects both run and pass game and has the quickest hands as a defender. He spent a lot of time disrupting backfields on tape and the Panthers will get back to being that defensive type team again with this kid.

Number Eight Arizona- CeeDee Lamb WR Oklahoma: After the top defensive players have been taken off the board, (Simmons, Brown) Steve Keim and company will go after the most talented player on the the board. A can’t miss player that will be instant impact and on the field day one and also could be the next freak star wideout in the league, paring him with his former quarterback Kyler Murray would be deadly for defenses. Lamb knows the Cardinals offense and that would give him the edge over his counter part Jerry Juedy.

Number Nine Jacksonville- Jeff Okudah CB OSU: The Jags have made major moves in cleaning up their roster, starting with the trade of star CB Jalen Ramsey mid-season and A.J Bouye this off-season, the Jags leave themselves in desperate need of a lockdown Corner.

Number Ten Cleveland- Tristan Wirfs OT Iowa: This is a no brainer for a team that needs to protect its star quarterback, whom took a lot of sacks his first two years. This kid looked awesome at the combine, to be 6’5 322 and can move like a linebacker. He has great feet and hands and is probably the best pass protecter in the draft.

Look for these picks to possibly change after pro-days and free-agency is completed.
