Arizona Diamondbacks Catch a Sleeping Giant asleep with an 8-3 Win

If you blink you will miss how good the Arizona Diamondbacks can be, when they decide to show up and bring the intensity along with their bats.

For the first time in 2022 the San Fransisco Giants come to Chase Field for a series, and former Giants ace Maddison Bumgarner was on the mound facing his old team where his success came from.

Early going was a bit rough in the top of the first inning Mad-Bum could not find the strike zone as he walked two batters and gave up two hits allowing the Giants to jump out to a 2-0 early lead.

The D-Back offense was game and determined to not allow their ace to lose to his former team.

The final was 8-3 and Madison Bumgarner posted his 4th win of the year, and send the Giants to their 5th straight loss.

This is a good time to catch a good team while they are down, and maybe the late match-up on the year aids in that for the Snakes.

The game’s MVP was Dalton Varsho who was 3 for 4 batting with three RBI and only one spike out.

Here are a few pictures from game one of the series, as these two teams will go at it the next two days, and let’s see if the D-Backs can keep a sleeping Giant asleep.
