KSRN

The Kazual Sportz Radio Network was established three years ago in 2016 where journalist Earl Burnett started covering the local teams as a blog writer and expanded to column writing. In 2017 he decided to start his own radio show “The Kazual Sportz Show” that aired on a major network NBC Sports Radio. Later adding his partner to the show co-host and writer Sean McConnell, the show took off on social media. But the show was designed to work in the local community and allow fans to have a voice and get out to all of the Valley their fan club events, such as tailgates, road trips, game parties, and more. At the same time allow its listeners to meet so many positive people doing positive things in their community, as the network attends so many charity events from players events and community leaders all with the common goal to better our community.

This was for all the fanbase in the Valley for the Cardinals, Suns, Diamondbacks, and Coyotes. After the Show on NBC Earl and Sean decided to run their own radio Network and KSRN an online radio station was born.

The Network is growing as the station houses some of the best sports talk radio and Podcast in the Valley. Having some big names like ex- football and baseball player Ed Smith’s radio show, also ex-Cardinals player Jeremy Bridges with his popular podcast in the Valley and many more. The station also added another twist to aid in the community, adding local music artists to have their music played live on the station late nights.

The Network has teamed up with so many sponsors and charity organizations throughout the Valley, like Voices for CASA which is the organization that helps in the foster child system. The same group that aided ex- Cardinals coach Bruce Arians in his Foundations charity work.

The Network has a knack for gathering the fanbase on remote locations and covering all of the major sports giving the fans a prospective that is fresh and invites the Fans to have a take and be heard.

Earl Burnett

IMG_20170512_221213_697Earl Burnett (A.K.A) Kazual_E of Kazual Sportz is a local Arizona sports writer currently studied at ASU in sports journalism, also broadcasting school at American Broadcasting University. Earl has worked many charitable venues covering the local professional football team the Arizona Cardinals. Including interviews with several of the key players the likes of Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, Bruce Arians, Michael Floyd, Carson Palmer, Calais Campbell and a host of other players including red carpet appearances with quarterback legend Kurt Warner. Kazual Sportz was designed to allow the casual sports fan and all fans alike the avenue to voice their sports opinion.

A father of three young girls Aariel, Jazmaine, and Miyah. Raised in Los Angeles CA by a single Parent his mother Mary Burnett. Earl has made his way on the Fox Sports 910 in Arizona as a guest for his writings on the Cardinals. His main goal is to become a sports figure to broadcast and maybe sports news for a local television station. Currently, he has a local sports podcast broadcasting live from blog talk radio, the show is called “The Kazual Sports Fan Podcast show” and features social media as its base of content. The show allows the fans from social media to reach out with an opinion in discussing sports.

Sean McConnell

Sean McConnell is a Web Designer by trade and an Arizona Sports fan by heart. Getting his feet wet in sports journalism, Sean started by writing fan based articles for the Fansided blog named “Raising Zona”. It was there that he developed a passion for the opinions of sports fans. Born and raised in Arizona, Sean has no room for bandwagon fandom or non-Arizona sports teams in his life. Call him a homer, but expect him to give his honest opinion of the teams that he loves. He has a big passion for giving Arizona fans an outlet to express their opinions that they may have not been able to do on larger radio stations. With a highly sarcastic personality, Sean hopes to paint the Arizona Sports landscape with humor and a light tone.
